Chase Ultimate Rewards is paying a 30% bonus on transfers to Wyndham Rewards through December 3, 2026, so each 1,000 Chase points you move becomes 1,300 Wyndham points. Because Chase transfers in 1,000-point blocks, a 30,000-point Wyndham award now costs 24,000 Chase points instead of 30,000. An average Wyndham redemption still returns less than 1 cent per Chase point, so transfer only for a stay you’ve priced.

The deal

Key terms

  • Increments: transfers start at 1,000 Chase points and move in 1,000-point blocks, so you round up to the next 1,000.
  • Bonus timing: Wyndham adds the 30% bonus points within 7 days of the transfer, per Frequent Miler.
  • No undo: points you send to Wyndham stay there. Chase won’t move them back.
  • Award chart: Wyndham’s tier update page shows four free night tiers since September 15, 2026: 5,000, 15,000, 30,000 and 45,000 points per bedroom per night.
  • Club resorts: Wyndham’s redemption page says “you can book select resorts for just 5,000 Wyndham Rewards points per bedroom per night when you stay two or more nights.”
  • Whole unit only: Wyndham’s free night terms require enough points for every bedroom in the unit, and say most awards cover the standard room rate including taxes.

A three-night Orlando condo for 24,000 Chase points

Club Wyndham Cypress Palms in Kissimmee, Florida, was one of the 9 U.S. resorts Wyndham listed under its 5,000-point club offer when we checked on November 3, 2026. Its two-bedroom condo sleeps 8 and has a full kitchen. At 5,000 points per bedroom per night, three nights cost 30,000 Wyndham points (5,000 times 2 bedrooms times 3 nights).

Club Wyndham Cypress Palms, two-bedroom condo, 3 nights Without the bonus (1:1) With the 30% bonus
Wyndham points needed 30,000 Wyndham points 30,000 Wyndham points
Chase points to transfer 30,000 Chase points 24,000 Chase points (becomes 31,200 Wyndham points)
Taxes Included at most properties, per Wyndham Included at most properties, per Wyndham

The bonus saves you 6,000 Chase points on this stay. At the 2.05 cents per point our points valuation guide puts on Chase points, that’s about $123 (6,000 times 2.05 cents).

30,000 divided by 1.3 is 23,077, and Chase rounds the result up to 24,000, so you’d end with 1,200 spare Wyndham points. We priced this from Wyndham’s chart and resort list on November 3, not from a live date search, and open dates will likely be gone by the time you read this. Club resorts also set minimum stays, so find your dates in Wyndham’s search before you move any points.

Tip: check whether you hold a Wyndham Rewards Earner card first. Frequent Miler notes cardholders get 10% to 25% off award nights, which lowers the number of Chase points to send.

What each Wyndham tier costs in Chase points

Wyndham award per night Chase points at 1:1 Chase points with the 30% bonus
5,000 points 5,000 4,000 (becomes 5,200)
15,000 points 15,000 12,000 (becomes 15,600)
30,000 points 30,000 24,000 (becomes 31,200)
45,000 points 45,000 35,000 (becomes 45,500)

The 45,000-point tier is new this fall, as we covered in our 45,000-point tier post. Homes & Havens, Wyndham’s new vacation rental site, prices homes at 15,000, 30,000 or 45,000 points per bedroom per night. You book those awards by phone at least 60 days before arrival.

Our take

We’d transfer only for a stay where the cash rate is high and the Wyndham tier is low. Frequent Miler values Wyndham points at 0.57 cents, the figure in our Wyndham valuation post. With the bonus, one Chase point buys 1.3 Wyndham points, or about 0.74 cents of average value (1.3 times 0.57 cents). That’s about a third of the 2.05 cents we value Chase points at.

A 30,000-point hotel night costs 24,000 Chase points, worth about $492 at 2.05 cents each, so the room should cost more than $492 in cash before you transfer. The Cypress Palms condo costs the same 24,000 Chase points for three nights, so it beats our Chase valuation when the two-bedroom unit costs more than about $164 a night in cash. Family trips like this one are where Wyndham’s flat per-bedroom price beats a nightly cash rate.

Skip it if you don’t have dates and a property picked. Chase points left in your account still transfer to Hyatt (now at 4:3 after the October change) or to airlines, and the 30% Avios bonus runs through December 1. Our transfer bonus guide explains how to judge any bonus before you move points.
