How we review cards and deals

Every post links to the issuer or program page behind its numbers, so you can check a fee, an earning rate or a deadline yourself. When a term is ambiguous, the post says so instead of guessing.

We judge an offer by what you keep after the annual fee and how hard the spending requirement is to meet. A big bonus behind a $30,000 requirement is a different product from a smaller one behind $4,000, and the post will say which kind of spender each fits.

Deals carry their end date in the post. When a deal expires, it is marked expired on the site.

How we make money
