A 20% bonus on transfers from Capital One to Air France-KLM Flying Blue runs through November 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET, so 1,000 Capital One miles become 1,200 Flying Blue miles. Flying Blue’s November Promo Rewards, which cut select awards to Europe by about 25%, have to be booked by the same day. Together, a one-way business class seat from New York JFK to Paris costs 37,500 Capital One miles plus about $335 in taxes.
The deal
- Offer: a 20% bonus on transfers from Capital One miles to Flying Blue, so 10,000 Capital One miles become 12,000 Flying Blue miles.
- Dates: November 1, 2026 through November 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET, per Thrifty Traveler.
- Registration: none. The bonus started November 1 and posts with your transfer, per One Mile at a Time.
- Normal rate: 1:1 once the bonus ends. Capital One ran the same 20% bonus in October, next to the Amex bonus in our Amex to Flying Blue post.
- Eligible cards: the Venture X and Venture earn 2 miles per dollar on most purchases. The VentureOne earns 1.25 miles per dollar.
- Direct link: transfers run from the rewards section of your Capital One account. Capital One lists Flying Blue among its airline partners on its transfer partner page.
- Promo Rewards: book by November 30, 2026 for travel through April 30, 2027, per AwardWallet’s Promo Rewards tracker.
Key terms
- Names must match: “The name on your Capital One account also has to match the name on your travel loyalty program,” per the issuer’s transfer partner page. A spouse’s Flying Blue account won’t work.
- Minimum and steps: the same page sets a 1,000-mile minimum. Above it, transfers go in 100-mile steps, per Thrifty Traveler.
- No way back: miles don’t return to your Capital One account once a transfer is finalized, per the same page.
- Timing: One Mile at a Time reports Flying Blue transfers usually post instantly, with the bonus arriving alongside the base miles.
- Promo fares are Light fares: the discounted price is Flying Blue’s cheapest award type. Light fares allow no changes or refunds, and Light business fares exclude lounge access. Our Light, Standard and Flex post covers the trade-offs.

Our take
We’d transfer for the JFK business class promo if your dates work, and only after you see the seat. At 1.85 cents a mile, 37,500 Capital One miles are worth about $694 by our valuation. Add the $335 in taxes, and the award beats paying cash whenever the business fare tops about $1,030. The same miles cover only $375 of travel when you erase purchases at 1 cent each with a card like the Venture X.
The economy promo is a closer call. 15,700 Capital One miles plus taxes for a one-way seat is fair value, so it makes sense when the cash fare tops about $300. Skip it if you’d rather pay cash for a cheap winter fare and save the miles for business class.
Compare it with Capital One’s 30% Virgin Atlantic bonus, which ends November 20. With the Virgin bonus, Upper Class from New York to London costs 22,400 Capital One miles plus $496.90, so Virgin needs fewer miles and Flying Blue charges less cash. If you’re new to these offers, our transfer bonus guide explains when one is worth chasing. Our best travel credit cards guide lists the cards earning Capital One miles, including the Venture.
