Wyndham Rewards is moving Blue, Gold and Platinum members up one level for free if they claim the offer by December 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET. The higher level lasts through December 31, 2026, so you get it for about eight weeks. Diamond members get two free months of Wyndham Rewards Insider in the U.S., or 3,000 points.

- Diamond members outside the U.S.: 3,000 bonus points.
- Cost: free. Membership is free too, so a new member starts at Blue and can claim Gold the same day.

What each upgrade gets you
Wyndham’s member levels page normally asks for 5 nights for Gold, 15 for Platinum and 40 for Diamond. Every level earns 10 base points per dollar on the room rate, and the higher levels add a percentage on top.

The points barely matter. A three-night stay at $120 a night earns 3,600 base points. Going from Platinum to Diamond adds 5% of that, or 180 points, worth about $1 at the 0.57 cents in our Wyndham points value post. The perks are what you’re getting.

- Register with your member number.
- Watch for the confirmation email within two days, then check your level in the app before you check in.

Our take
We’d claim this today if you have any Wyndham stay before December 31. It takes about a minute and costs nothing. The Platinum to Diamond step is the one worth having, because a suite upgrade on a holiday trip is a real perk.
U.S. Diamonds without a subscription get two months of Insider, Wyndham’s $95-a-year plan with 10% off hotels booked direct. On a $360 stay, that’s $36 off, about twice the $17 that 3,000 points are worth. Wyndham hasn’t said whether the free months turn into a paid plan, so check your account for a renewal date before they end.
Skip it if you have no Wyndham stays this year, since the level expires on December 31 and gives you nothing for 2027.
