The Barclays Wyndham Rewards Earner+ card now pays up to 90,000 points, and the $95 annual fee is waived for the first year. You get 45,000 points after $1,000 in purchases in 90 days and another 45,000 after $500 at Wyndham hotels in 180 days. At the 0.57 cents we value Wyndham Rewards points at, the full bonus is worth about $513.

- Annual fee: $0 the first year, then $95.
- Status: Wyndham Diamond in year one, then Platinum while you keep the card.

Key terms
- Award ceiling: Barclays warns that “Free nights can require up to 45,000 points per bedroom at participating properties and are subject to availability.”
- Timeshare purchases don’t count: Barclays excludes timeshare down payments from the spending requirement on all three cards.
- Anniversary points: the Earner+ pays 15,000 bonus points “each anniversary year after payment of your annual fee,” per the Earner+ page.
- Award discount: Earner and Earner+ cardholders redeem 10% fewer points for free nights. The Earner Premier takes 25% off.
- Premier fee: the Earner Premier’s 90,000-point half also requires you to pay the $395 fee in full within 120 days, alongside $6,000 in purchases.
- No foreign transaction fees: all three cards list a 0% foreign transaction fee.
What 90,000 points book
Wyndham’s award tier page shows four prices since September 15, 2026: 5,000, 15,000, 30,000 and 45,000 points per bedroom per night. The 10% cardholder discount brings each one down before you book.
| Wyndham tier per night | Price with the Earner+ discount | Nights from 90,000 points |
|---|---|---|
| 5,000 points | 4,500 points | 20 nights |
| 15,000 points | 13,500 points | 6 nights |
| 30,000 points | 27,000 points | 3 nights |
| 45,000 points | 40,500 points | 2 nights |
The 5,000-point tier covers select club resorts on stays of two nights or more. Wyndham’s redemption page lists them, and a two-bedroom condo costs 10,000 points a night before the discount, because the price is per bedroom. Our 45,000-point tier post covers which hotels moved to the top price. Wyndham’s Homes & Havens rentals start at 15,000 points per bedroom.
How the three cards compare
| Card | Bonus | Spend required | Annual fee | Bonus value at 0.57 cents |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Earner | 45,000 points | $2,000 in 90 days | $0 | $257 |
| Earner+ | 90,000 points | $1,000 in 90 days, plus $500 at Wyndham in 180 days | $0 first year, then $95 | $513 |
| Earner Premier | 120,000 points | $6,000 and the fee in 120 days, plus $750 at Wyndham in 180 days | $395 | $684 |
Doctor of Credit points out that the Earner Premier’s 120,000 points match its launch offer, so that one isn’t an increase. The Earner+ deal is the real change, because the earlier 90,000-point offer charged the fee in year one.
Our take
We’d apply for the Earner+ if you already stay at Wyndham hotels or club resorts, because the $500 hotel spend is the hard part and you’d spend it anyway. Two nights at a $250 Wyndham hotel clear it. The full bonus is worth about $513 (90,000 times 0.57 cents), and the first year costs nothing. From year two, the 15,000 anniversary points are worth about $86 against the $95 fee, so the card nearly pays for itself if you keep it.
Skip the Earner+ if you never book Wyndham. Without the $500 hotel spend you only earn half the bonus, and the Earner pays the same 45,000 points for $0 a year. Skip the Earner Premier unless you’d use most of its credits. Its 120,000 points are worth about $684, or $289 after the $395 fee, which is less than the Earner+ bonus. Barclays lists a $100 Wyndham hotel credit, a $65 wholesale club credit, up to $120 a year in meal delivery credits and up to $100 for streaming. You’d need to use $224 of those credits in year one to match the Earner+ ($513 minus $289).
Wyndham’s hotel points are worth less than flexible bank points, as our Wyndham valuation post explains. If you hold Chase points, the 30% Chase to Wyndham bonus runs through December 3 and stacks with the cardholder discount. Our best travel credit cards guide covers the cards we’d get before a hotel card, and our points valuation guide shows how we price each program.
