Wyndham Will Pay You Up to 25,000 Bonus Points This Fall. Register Before You Book.
Wyndham Rewards launched its fall 2026 promotion on September 24, 2026. You earn 4X the base points on qualifying stays, capped at 15,000 bonus points. Insiders and cardholders earn more, up to 25,000. Registration has to happen before you book, and a stay booked first earns nothing.

How does the Wyndham fall 2026 promotion work?
The Wyndham Rewards fall 2026 promotion multiplies your base points by four on qualifying stays. Wyndham's own example: a stay that would normally earn 2,000 base points earns 8,000 instead, made up of 2,000 base points and 6,000 bonus points. The multiplier applies to base points only, not to points from elite status or your credit card. The bonus stops at 15,000 points.
The offer runs across multiple stays. You do not have to hit the cap on one trip.
Why does registering first matter so much?
Wyndham Rewards states the sequence plainly on the offer page: "You must register before booking your qualified stay(s)." The terms go further and say any stay booked or consumed before you register will not be counted toward the offer. There is no retroactive credit and no appeal.
Registration takes about fifteen seconds through the My Promotions section of your Wyndham Rewards account or the Wyndham app. Do it now even if you have no trip planned. A registration you never use costs nothing. A stay you booked yesterday cannot be fixed.
Who gets the full 25,000 points?
Only Wyndham Rewards Earner Premier cardholders reach 25,000. That takes the 15,000-point 4X cap plus a 10,000-point card bonus, and the card bonus requires either one qualifying stay of two or more consecutive nights or two separate one-night stays, paid with the Premier card.
Other Wyndham Rewards Visa cardholders and Wyndham Rewards Debit cardholders add 5,000, for 20,000 total. Insiders add 5,000 on the same two-night condition, also for 20,000.
The card bonus and the Insider bonus do not stack. Qualify for both and Wyndham pays the card bonus only.
Are the points worth chasing?
Wyndham Rewards moved to a four-tier award chart on September 15, 2026, with free nights from 5,000 to 45,000 points per bedroom. More than 2,000 properties that used to cost 15,000 points moved into the 30,000 and 45,000 tiers. A 15,000-point bonus that once covered a free night now covers one at the cheapest end of the chart.

What this means for you
Register today. Then book only the Wyndham stays you were going to take anyway.
Bookings must go through a direct Wyndham channel, meaning Wyndham's websites and brand sites, the reservation phone lines, the app, or the front desk itself. Third-party bookings, award nights, Points plus Cash stays, Caesars properties, vacation club resorts and vacation rentals are all excluded. So are Super 8 properties in Mainland China and Wyndham Rewards Business accounts.
Bonus points post within two to four weeks of your stay, and card bonuses take six to eight.

Registration and booking for the Wyndham Rewards fall 2026 promotion both close on January 15, 2027. Your qualifying stay has to be completed by January 19, 2027. Any stay ending after that date does not count.
Can I register after I book?

The bottom line
This is a fine promotion for people with Wyndham stays already on the calendar, and a poor reason to go book one. The registration rule is the only thing here with a hard edge, and it is the thing most people get wrong.
