Hilton Honors members enrolled in Hilton for Business earn two elite night credits for each night they stay on a Hilton for Business rate through December 31, 2026. The bonus stops at 5 extra night credits, so 5 paid nights count as 10. Hilton for Business is free to join, and you don’t have to register for the promotion.

The deal

  • Offer: one extra tier-qualifying night credit for each eligible night, up to 5 extra credits.
  • Program: Hilton for Business, Hilton’s free program for small and medium businesses.
  • Dates: November 2, 2026 at 5:00 a.m. ET through December 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
  • Rate: the stay must be booked at a Hilton for Business rate, which Hilton says saves up to 20%.
  • Registration: none for the promotion. You need a Hilton for Business profile before you check out.
  • Direct link: Hilton’s Double Night Credit page.

Key terms

  • Cap: Hilton’s terms limit the bonus to “up to a maximum of five (5) additional tier-qualifying night credits.”
  • Enrollment: you have to connect your Hilton Honors account and create a business profile on the Hilton for Business sign-up page before checkout.
  • Split stays: if a stay starts before November 2 or ends after December 31, only the nights inside those dates count.
  • Timing: Hilton says to allow six to eight weeks after the stay for the extra night credits to post.
  • Stacking: Hilton says the promotion combines with other Hilton for Business offers.

How far 5 bonus nights move you

Hilton grants status on nights, stays or spending in a calendar year. Upgraded Points lists the night thresholds as 10 for Silver, 25 for Gold, 50 for Diamond and 80 for Diamond Reserve. The promotion helps most when you’re about 10 nights short, because then the 5 extra credits replace 5 nights you’d otherwise pay for.

Where you are now Nights to stay without the promo Nights to stay with the promo Nights saved
15 nights, aiming for Gold (25) 10 5 5
20 nights, aiming for Gold (25) 5 3 2
40 nights, aiming for Diamond (50) 10 5 5
70 nights, aiming for Diamond Reserve (80) 10 5 5

Each row assumes every night is on a Hilton for Business rate during the promotion. If you’re at 20 nights, 3 eligible nights earn 6 credits and take you to 26, one more than Gold requires.

Who gets in

The program has no minimum spend, and some business card holders joined without noticing. If you hold the Amex Business Platinum card, and enrolled in its Hilton credit, you’re a member. Amex’s up to $200 Hilton credit is only for Hilton for Business members. If you don’t have an account, Amex says you’re “registered for one at the time you enroll in the benefit.” Our post on the card’s 2027 changes covers its other credits.

Hilton also pays the company 7,500 Hilton Honors points after its first stay at the business rate. After that, the company earns 5,000 points for every 10 nights its staff stay at that rate.

If Gold is your goal and you don’t stay much, a card gets you there faster than any promotion. The Hilton Honors Surpass card from Amex includes Gold status. Amex says Gold adds an 80% bonus on base points and the 5th night free on standard award stays of 5 nights or more. Our Hilton Aspire post compares the Hilton cards.

Our take

We’d join Hilton for Business today if you have any business income, including a side business, and you have Hilton nights booked before December 31. It costs nothing, and Hilton says the business rate saves up to 20%. If you’re 10 nights from Gold or Diamond, the promotion saves you 5 paid nights. At a $180 nightly rate, that’s $900 of hotel stays you no longer need to book only to reach status.

Skip it if your remaining 2026 stays are on prepaid, conference or third-party rates, because those don’t qualify. It also does little if you’re 4 nights or fewer from the next tier, since it saves you at most 2 nights there. Never book a night you don’t need only to reach status, since the perks rarely repay the cost of an extra night.

Frequent Miler notes the bonus credits also count toward Hilton’s Milestone Bonuses. IHG ran a similar push this year, which we covered in our IHG elite night promos post, and our elite status coverage tracks other year-end promotions.
