Chase’s Marriott Bonvoy Boundless card now pays 200,000 bonus points after you spend $3,000 in the first 3 months, and the offer ends November 11, 2026. The annual fee is $95. At the 0.7 cents per point that Upgraded Points uses for Marriott Bonvoy, the bonus is worth about $1,400.

The deal

  • Offer: 200,000 Marriott Bonvoy points after $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.
  • Dates: Marriott’s credit card page says the offer “Ends 11/11”.
  • Annual fee: $95, charged in year one.
  • Extra credit: up to $100 in statement credits on airline purchases through June 30, 2027, at $50 per half year after $250 in airline spending.
  • Card perks: a Free Night Award each account anniversary at hotels up to 35,000 points, automatic Silver Elite status and 15 Elite Night Credits a year.
  • Direct link: the Chase application page.

Key terms

  • The wording: Chase’s page reads “This week only: Earn 200,000 Bonus Points after spending $3,000 on eligible purchases within 3 months of account opening.”
  • Marriott card rules: Chase won’t approve you if you hold a Boundless, Bold or older Marriott Premier card. A bonus on one of them in the last 24 months also rules you out, per the offer details.
  • Amex Marriott cards count too: a Brilliant, Bevy or Marriott Business bonus in the last 24 months, or approval for one in the last 90 days, blocks the bonus.
  • Timing: Chase says to allow 6 to 8 weeks after you meet the spending for the points to post.
  • Airline credit: cardholders activate it on Chase’s offer page and earn it on purchases made directly with airlines.
  • Chase 5/24: Chase usually declines anyone who opened 5 or more personal cards from any bank in the last 24 months. Our best travel credit cards guide explains the rule.

What 200,000 points book

Marriott prices award nights by date and hotel, so there’s no fixed chart. Its redemption page says Free Night Awards work “at thousands of properties, worldwide, with varying point values.” Two rules from Marriott’s program terms decide how far 200,000 points go.

The first is Stay for 5, Pay for 4. Book five award nights on one reservation and you pay points for four, with the cheapest night free. A hotel at 40,000 points a night costs 160,000 points for five nights instead of 200,000. The terms say Free Night Awards “are not eligible for the Stay for 5, Pay for 4 Offer,” so only points get the fifth night.

The second is expiry. Points expire only after 24 consecutive months with no earning or redemption, and spending on the Boundless counts as activity. A Free Night Award has a fixed expiration date, and Chase’s terms say it can’t be extended.

Option What you get Our value
200,000 points (this offer) Points that count toward Stay for 5, Pay for 4 about $1,400 at 0.7 cents
3 Free Night Awards up to 50,000 points (the earlier offer) Three single nights, 150,000 points at most up to about $1,050 at 0.7 cents

Frequent Miler, which tracks Boundless offers, says no earlier offer paid this many points. Before this week, the public offer was the three Free Night Awards in the table, as The Points Guy’s offer page still shows.

Our take

We’d apply before November 11 if you’re under 5/24 and stay at Marriott hotels, even a few nights a year. The math is simple: 200,000 points at 0.7 cents is about $1,400, minus the $95 fee, leaves about $1,305 in year one. The $100 airline credit adds more if you buy airfare directly from airlines. If you’d rather move Chase points to Marriott, our post on the last Chase to Marriott transfer bonus shows what that route costs. The anniversary night (worth up to 35,000 points, about $245) covers the $95 fee in later years if you use it.

Skip it if you hold a Chase Marriott card now or earned any Marriott card bonus in the last 24 months, because Chase’s terms block you. Also skip it if you’re near 5/24 and want a Chase Sapphire Preferred or Ink card first. Chase points are worth about 2.05 cents each in our points valuation guide, about three times a Marriott point, so a Chase card’s bonus usually comes first. For a bigger Marriott hotel card with a $650 fee, see our post on the Brilliant’s 150,000-point offer. Our hotel points and welcome offers pages collect our other hotel card and welcome offer posts.

FAQ

When does the 200,000-point Boundless offer end?

Marriott’s credit card page says it ends November 11, 2026. Chase’s page calls it a “this week only” offer.

How much do you have to spend for the 200,000 points?

You need $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. Balance transfers, cash advances and fees don’t count.

Can you get the bonus if you have a Marriott Amex card?

Yes, unless the timing rules you out. A bonus on the Brilliant, Bevy or Marriott Business Amex in the last 24 months blocks it. So does approval for one of them in the last 90 days.

What is 200,000 Marriott points worth?

About $1,400 at the 0.7 cents per point Upgraded Points uses. Five nights at a 40,000-point hotel cost 160,000 points with Stay for 5, Pay for 4.

Does the Boundless card have an annual fee?

Yes, $95 a year, including the first year. The card gives a Free Night Award worth up to 35,000 points each anniversary.
