American Airlines is giving new AAdvantage Business accounts 15,000 bonus miles for enrolling with promo code GET15K by October 31, 2026. Joining is free and earning the bonus takes no flights or spending.

Using those miles is harder. The business needs 5 active travelers and $5,000 of American flights in a calendar year, or the Citi AAdvantage Business card, before it can touch them.

The short version

  • Bonus: 15,000 AAdvantage miles to the business account for enrolling with code GET15K.
  • Deadline: October 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Central, which is 9:59 p.m. Pacific.
  • To use the miles: 5 active travelers and $5,000 of eligible travel in a calendar year.
  • The Citi AAdvantage Business card waives that minimum. It costs $0 the first year, then $99.
  • Miles post 6 to 8 weeks after the promotion ends, so mid-December at the earliest.

What is the AAdvantage Business GET15K offer?

The AAdvantage Business GET15K offer pays 15,000 American Airlines miles to a company that opens a new AAdvantage Business account by October 31, 2026. AAdvantage Business is American’s free program for small companies. The business earns its own miles on employee flights, on top of what each traveler earns personally.

American’s AAdvantage Business offers page lists the terms:

  • The code replaces BNS10K, which paid 10,000 miles.
  • “Existing AAdvantage Business℠ program members are not eligible for this offer.”
  • One enrollment bonus per business, and it cannot be combined with other enrollment offers.
  • The person who runs the company’s travel has to register.
  • Bonus miles do not count toward AAdvantage status or Million Miler.

One Mile at a Time and Frequent Miler both reported the higher code on October 8 and 9.

Who can join AAdvantage Business?

AAdvantage Business is open to companies with a primary physical address in the U.S. or one of seven other countries American lists. The program terms ask for a “valid verifiable Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN), Business Number or similar tax ID.” Holding an eligible AAdvantage business credit card also qualifies a company.

Travel agencies and people flying only for leisure are excluded. American never says whether a sole proprietor using a Social Security number qualifies. If you freelance without an EIN, you can get one free from the IRS, but read the terms first and do not stretch them.

How do you get access to the 15,000 miles?

AAdvantage Business freezes every mile in the business account until the company meets the program’s activity rules. The offers page says the minimum is “5 active travelers and $5,000 USD in eligible program travel from the active travelers in a calendar year.” That rule covers this bonus too.

Once you hit it, access lasts the rest of that year and all of the next. American’s terms give the example of a business that qualifies in June 2026 keeping access through December 31, 2027.

There is a shortcut. American’s how it works page says “These requirements are waived for Citi® / AAdvantage Business℠ World Elite Mastercard® cardmembers.”

The Citi AAdvantage Business card currently shows:

  • 65,000 bonus miles after $4,000 in purchases in the first 4 months.
  • $0 annual fee the first year, then $99.
  • 2x miles at American Airlines, gas stations, car rentals and telecom.
  • No bonus if you got a Citi business card bonus in the past 48 months.

If your company is one or two people, the card is the realistic way to reach these miles. Our best travel credit cards guide and Citi cards explainer cover where it fits.

What can the business do with the miles?

AAdvantage Business miles can pay for flights or move to the people who fly. The how it works page says “Redeem miles for flights on aa.com or transfer to registered employees for their own use.” Transfers to registered travelers are free, and travelers then book through normal AAdvantage awards.

The miles cannot go to anyone else or be sold. American’s terms also warn that business redemptions “may be more limited than those available generally to individuals,” so moving miles to a traveler’s own account is usually the cleaner route.

The benefits page shows how the account earns after that: 1 mile per dollar of flown fare for the business, plus 1 extra Loyalty Point per dollar for each registered traveler. Basic Economy tickets bought on or after December 17, 2025 earn nothing.

Is there any risk in signing up?

AAdvantage Business costs nothing to join and the bonus needs no spending, so the downside is small. The main risk is a clawback. Frequent Miler and Doctor of Credit report that American cut a July 2026 25,000-mile enrollment offer back to 5,000 miles. American’s own terms say it may “change, stop or end this promotion” without notice.

Screenshot the offer page and your enrollment confirmation. If the miles post short in December, you have proof.

What this means for you

If you run a real business with an EIN, enroll before October 31 and enter GET15K. It costs nothing. Then pick a path: wait until five people at your company fly $5,000 on American, or get the Citi AAdvantage Business card and reach the miles right away. If you have no business, skip this offer. A personal AAdvantage card’s welcome offer is the better place to look.

FAQ

What is the AAdvantage Business promo code for 15,000 miles?

The AAdvantage Business promo code is GET15K. American Airlines pays 15,000 bonus miles to new AAdvantage Business accounts that enroll with it by October 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Central.

Do I need to fly to get the AAdvantage Business 15,000-mile bonus?

No. AAdvantage Business pays the 15,000 bonus miles for enrolling with GET15K. You need 5 active travelers and $5,000 of travel in a calendar year, or the Citi AAdvantage Business card, before the business can use them.

When will the AAdvantage Business bonus miles post?

American Airlines says the AAdvantage Business bonus miles post 6 to 8 weeks after the promotion period ends. The promotion ends October 31, 2026, so expect mid-December 2026 at the earliest.

Can a sole proprietor join AAdvantage Business?

American Airlines does not say. AAdvantage Business terms ask for a FEIN, Business Number or similar tax ID, or an eligible AAdvantage business card. A free EIN from the IRS is the safer route.

Can I move AAdvantage Business miles to my personal account?

Yes, once the business meets the activity rules or holds the Citi AAdvantage Business card. AAdvantage Business lets the company transfer miles free to registered travelers for their own use.

The bottom line

Fifteen thousand free miles is a fine deal for a company that already flies American. A company that rarely flies American will not reach them without the Citi card. Enroll if you have an EIN, then decide whether the card is worth $99 a year from year two.
