The Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite now pays 100,000 bonus points and a 25,000-point Global Companion Award after $6,000 in purchases in the first 90 days, with a $395 annual fee. Alaska Airlines calls it an online-only offer on its credit card page but gives no end date. That’s 30,000 points more than the 70,000-point offer we list on our Best Cards page.

Alaska’s premium card is issued by Bank of America. The Summit sits above the $95 Ascent card we covered in our Ascent offer post, which pays a $99 companion fare instead of a points-based companion award.

The deal

  • Offer: 100,000 Atmos Rewards points plus a 25,000-point Global Companion Award after $6,000 in purchases within 90 days of account opening.
  • Annual fee: $395, per Bank of America’s product page.
  • Dates: live on October 21, 2026, with no published end date. Doctor of Credit reports the same 100,000 points were offered earlier in 2026.
  • Earning: 3 points per $1 on dining, foreign transactions, and Alaska and Hawaiian purchases, and 1 point per $1 on everything else.
  • Direct link: apply from Alaska’s Summit card page. Alaska says the offer “may not be available elsewhere if you leave this page.”

Key terms

  • Companion award: Alaska’s card page says the 25,000-point award is “earned after qualifying purchases on a new account and annually after each card anniversary.”
  • Companion value: Alaska adds, “Redeem it for up to 25,000 points off a companion award ticket.”
  • Bigger companion award: you earn a 100,000-point Global Companion Award by spending $60,000 or more in a card anniversary year, per the same page.
  • Banking bonus: you get a 10% rewards bonus on points from card purchases if you have an eligible Bank of America account, so $100 of dining earns 330 points.
  • Status: you earn 1 status point per $2 spent, plus 10,000 status points each year starting at your first card anniversary.
  • Lounges and Wi-Fi: 8 Alaska Lounge passes and 8 Wi-Fi passes a year.
  • Bags and security: a free checked bag for you and up to 6 guests on the same reservation, plus up to $120 toward TSA PreCheck or Global Entry every four years.
  • Points: Alaska’s earning FAQ says “Atmos Rewards points do not expire.”

What the bonus is worth

Our points valuation guide puts most airline miles at 1 to 1.5 cents each, which makes 100,000 Atmos points worth $1,000 to $1,500. Upgraded Points uses 1.6 cents, or $1,600. The $6,000 of spending adds at least 6,000 more points, and more if some of it is dining or foreign purchases.

The 25,000-point companion award takes up to 25,000 points off a second award ticket on the same itinerary, about $250 to $375 at 1 to 1.5 cents. Alaska’s own example uses the 100,000-point version. A business class round trip from Seattle to Tokyo Narita starts at 120,000 points per person, and the award covers all but 20,000 points of the companion’s ticket. With the 25,000-point award from the welcome offer, the same companion seat would cost 95,000 points. Our companion fare tag collects the other Alaska companion deals.

First year Low estimate (1 cent) High estimate (1.5 cents)
100,000 bonus points $1,000 $1,500
6,000 points from the $6,000 spend $60 $90
25,000-point companion award $250 $375
Annual fee -$395 -$395
Net first-year value $915 $1,570

Atmos points book Alaska, Hawaiian and oneworld flights. Alaska’s September 29 announcement says the program reaches “more than 30 global airline partners serving more than 1,100 destinations.” Our STARLUX booking guide shows one of the newer partner options.

Our take

We’d apply if you live near an Alaska or Hawaiian hub and can put $6,000 on the card in 90 days without buying anything extra. Even at our low 1-cent estimate, the first year nets about $915 after the $395 fee. That beats the 70,000-point version by $300 at the same valuation.

The Summit earns its fee in later years only for a narrower group. The 25,000-point companion award returns about $250 to $375 a year, and the 8 lounge passes help if you often fly through an airport with an Alaska Lounge. People who spend heavily outside the U.S. get 3 points per $1 on foreign purchases, which is why the Summit appears in our cards for living abroad guide.

Skip it if you rarely fly Alaska or its partners, or if $6,000 in three months would mean buying things you don’t need. A flexible card from our best travel credit cards guide keeps more options open for a first big bonus. Bank of America points will also move into Atmos in 2027, per our Bank of America post, which matters if you already hold a Bank of America card.
