Atmos Rewards pays for flights in one of three ways from January 1, 2027. Enter one flight below and the calculator shows what each type of member earns on it: distance flyers (1 point per mile), price paid flyers (5 points per $1) and segment flyers (500 points per segment). The math behind it is in our Atmos Rewards earn choice deep dive.

How the calculator works
- Distance flyers earn 1 point and 1 status point per mile flown, on Alaska, Hawaiian and every partner, wherever the ticket was bought. On awards they earn 1 status point per mile.
- Price paid flyers earn 5 points and 5 status points per $1 of fare before taxes on tickets whose number starts with 027 or 001. A partner ticket bought on the partner's own site earns 25% to 250% of distance by cabin instead. On awards they earn 1 status point per 20 points the ticket cost.
- Segment flyers earn 500 points and 500 status points per segment. On awards they earn 500 status points per segment.
- Elite bonuses of 25% (Silver) to 150% (Titanium) apply to base points only. They add redeemable points, never status points.
- Award flights earn status points only. Saver and Basic Economy fares earn nothing under any option.
The results are estimates from Alaska's published rules as of October 9, 2026: the choose how you earn page, the 2027 partner earning chart and the earning FAQ. Alaska may round differently. The calculator leaves out promotions, Atmos Communities bonuses and credit card earning. STARLUX and Philippine Airlines tickets bought on their own sites earn no status points.
