Emirates Is Doubling Skywards Miles. Register and Book by September 30.

Emirates Skywards is paying a 100% bonus on the miles you earn from Emirates and flydubai flights. You have to register for the offer and buy the ticket between September 15 and September 30, 2026. The flight itself has to be completed by November 30, 2026.
Double miles on a flight you were buying anyway is free money. Double miles on a flight you invent a reason for is not.
The short version
100% bonus Skywards Miles on top of what the fare normally earns.
Registration and booking both close at 11:59pm Dubai time on September 30, 2026.
Travel has to be completed between September 15 and November 30, 2026.
Emirates Special, Saver, Flex and Flex Plus fares qualify, across Economy, Premium Economy, Business and First.
On flydubai, Lite, Value and Flex economy fares and Business Class fares qualify.
What is Emirates giving you?
Emirates Skywards is doubling the Skywards Miles a qualifying flight earns, which the airline describes as a 100% bonus on top of normal earning. This is an earning promotion, not a discount on award tickets and not a transfer bonus. Your fare costs the same. The miles landing in your account afterward are twice what they would otherwise have been. Both Emirates and flydubai flights count, because the two airlines share the Skywards program and between them reach six continents from Dubai.
Emirates puts the mechanics plainly in its announcement: "members must register for the offer and book an eligible Emirates or flydubai flight for travel until 30 November 2026."
Registration is the part people miss. No registration, no bonus, and there is no retroactive fix after the flight.
Which fares qualify?
The Emirates Skywards promotion covers most of the fare table rather than a narrow slice of it, which is more generous than these offers usually are. On Emirates, the eligible fares are Special, Saver, Flex and Flex Plus, and all four cabins are included: Economy, Premium Economy, Business and First. On flydubai, the Lite, Value and Flex economy fares qualify along with Business Class.
Two restrictions matter. The flight has to be both marketed and operated by Emirates or flydubai, so a codeshare flown by a partner airline is out. And the ticket has to be issued on Emirates or flydubai ticket stock, which rules out an itinerary booked through another airline that happens to put you on an Emirates plane. LoyaltyLobby read the terms the same way.
Travel agents are fine. Emirates says tickets bought through eligible online and offline sales channels, agents included, count.
Is a doubled Skywards Mile worth chasing?
Emirates Skywards is a mid-tier currency, not a top one. Skywards Miles buy flight rewards and upgrades on Emirates and flydubai plus a range of partner rewards, and the familiar catch is the carrier-imposed charges Emirates adds to award tickets. A doubled pile of miles does nothing about those charges, which are paid in cash. Gulf News carried the same fare details when the offer launched.
That said, the calculation here is unusually simple, because you are not spending anything to participate. If you already hold a ticket you plan to buy in the next two weeks on Emirates or flydubai, registering takes a minute and doubles the return on a purchase you had already decided to make. If you do not, there is nothing here worth restructuring a trip around. Our guide to what points and miles are worth in 2026 covers how to sanity check a currency before you start collecting it.
Who should register?
Register if any Emirates or flydubai flight is on your calendar between now and November 30, or if you are close to booking one. The offer is open to existing Emirates Skywards members and to people who join during the promotional period, so a new account works. Register first, then book, and keep the confirmation.
Skip it if the trip is in December. A flight on December 2 earns nothing extra no matter when you bought the ticket, because the promotion is scored on travel completed by November 30, not on the booking date alone.
Skip it too if the only way this works is by buying a more expensive Emirates fare instead of a cheaper carrier. Bonus miles have never justified a fare premium, and a 100% bonus on a mid-tier currency does not change that arithmetic. The same caution applies to transfer bonuses, which we get into in our beginner guide to transfer bonuses.
What this means for you
This is a two-week window with a hard close on September 30, and it rewards people who were already flying Emirates or flydubai this autumn. Register now even if the booking is a week away, since registration and booking both have to happen inside the same window and there is no advantage to waiting.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to register for the Emirates double miles offer?
Yes. The Emirates Skywards promotion requires registration through Emirates or flydubai digital channels between September 15 and September 30, 2026. Booking a qualifying flight without registering first earns the normal miles and no bonus.
When does the Emirates Skywards offer close?
Registration and booking both end at 11:59pm Dubai time on September 30, 2026. Dubai runs four hours ahead of UTC, so that is late afternoon on September 30 on the U.S. East Coast. Do not leave it to the last evening if you are booking from the United States.
Can I join Emirates Skywards now and still qualify?
Yes. Emirates has said the offer is open to people who enrol as new members by 11:59pm Dubai time on September 30, 2026. Join, register for the offer, then book.
Does the bonus apply to flights booked with miles?
No. Reward tickets do not earn Skywards Miles, so there is nothing for a 100% bonus to double. The promotion applies to eligible paid fares on Emirates and flydubai.
What happens if my flight is delayed into December?
The published condition is that travel be completed by November 30, 2026. An airline-caused reschedule that pushes you past that date is worth raising with Emirates Skywards directly, since the terms do not address it and the outcome depends on the agent.
